Work In BA Career Fair May 19th

Broken Arrow area employers from the healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and hospitality sectors are confirmed to attend the Work In BA Career and Job Fair from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, at Central on Main Ballroom, 210 N. Main St.

Employers are hiring for local positions that available now. Employment opportunities are available in management positions, as well as manufacturing and entry-level retail and hospitality.

Participating employers and community partners include NSUBA, Security Bank, Staples, DA/Pro Rubber, Ascension St. John, Avantive Solutions, Hilton Garden Inn, MicahTek, Clarion Hotel, Golden Rule Industries, Oxford Health, Stand-By-Personnel, Gatesway Foundation, Cherokee Nation Home Health, Right at Home, Brookdale Cedar Ridge, Panera Bread, Trinity Employment Specialists, Elara Caring, Saint Simeons, Forest Hills Assisted and Independent Living, Bass Pro Shop, Spectrum Paint, UniFirst, among others.

Those attending the career fair are encouraged to prepare with an updated resume, dress to impress in professional attire, and project a positive attitude. “It is important for job seekers to take the time to research companies and job openings they are applying to and follow up with them after the career fair,” said Workforce Development Manager Amber Smith. Smith will be on hand at the fair to introduce job seekers to the services available at Work in BA Career Center, including resume assistance and providing educational resources.

Work in BA Career Center is operated by the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation.  The center was made possible by contributions and support of the City of Broken Arrow and Tulsa County.
